SilentPower

SilentPower / Industries

Broadcasting & Studios

A four-layer specification - power, network, DC and HDMI - for the infrastructure behind consoles, processors, monitoring and broadcast systems.

Overview

Build the infrastructure behind critical production systems.

Broadcast and studio environments depend on more than the console, processor or monitoring chain. Power, Ethernet, DC supplies and HDMI all sit around the equipment you specify and can influence the consistency of the finished system.

SilentPower lets you condition these layers as part of the installation, giving critical production equipment a cleaner electrical and signal environment from the rack onwards. The recommended Broadcast & Studio configuration covers four layers: power, network, DC and HDMI.

Where it fits

From the control room to the monitoring chain.

PowerStation front view

PowerStation

A conditioned power foundation for the rack.

PowerStation gives multiple components a common mains foundation rather than leaving every device exposed to the raw electrical environment. Active Noise Cancellation reduces incoming EMI/RFI interference, while integrated surge protection adds protection for valuable rack equipment.

For custom installers, it becomes the starting point for processors, source equipment, monitoring hardware and amplification before addressing individual signal paths.

Optically isolate critical network devices.

Network data is converted to light and back again, creating complete electrical separation between the wider network and connected equipment. The signal is then regenerated to reconstruct the data stream and reduce timing errors.

Specify it ahead of streamers, network bridges, digital processors, encoders, decoders and other critical Ethernet endpoints.

Scale galvanic isolation across the rack.

Each input/output pair uses transformer-based galvanic isolation, shielding and dedicated grounding. Four-, eight- and twelve-port versions let you apply the same network-conditioning approach across larger installations without adding a separate device to every connection.
